This game was the original source for mathematician C.L. Baker that he provided Gardner which lead to the development of EightsOff. Gardner altered the game somewhat, making it harder initially, but ultimately with a more likely good outcome.

Baker's Game is a classic reserve game that is simple in design, creating an fairly easy win for those days when you want something different, but don't want to think too hard. BakersSix is the original game with 6 table piles and 6 reserves.  The other Baker's we created increase the difficulty with fewer reserves.
