This game is the original Spider game per the description in Hoyle and many others, modified to operate using Cousin rules. Like all cousin games, in table play you may create runs of cards in sequence, but alternating in suit while keeping the same color.

In spiders, including this cousin variant, you can always move single cards onto any suit.  But in the game you can only move sequences of cards if they follow the cousin rules of alternating suit but keeping in the same color.

Normaly in spiders you only play to the foudation in runs of a 13 cards in a sequence that follows suit, but for this game you will play to the foundations in Cousin sequence rather than suit sequence.
